Android began releasing Google 12 beta 2 on June 9 (local time). In addition to Pixel, it can also be used on devices from 10 manufacturers, including Sharp, OPPO and Xiaomi, which have joined the Android 12 test plan. Android 12's beta 1 was released according to the May issue of Google I Universe O, and despite the design changes, there are not many new features that users can master. But in this beta 2, some of the features released on Google's iCandle O have been added. Especially in privacy-related functions.
One of them is the privacy dashboard. It can learn about the use of location information, microphones and cameras in the past 24 hours, and can centrally manage other applications available in rights management.
Compared with the previous management, we can master not only the applications used now, but also the applications used back to the past, which is very different.
From a privacy point of view, when an application uses a microphone and a camera, an icon appears on the status bar to notify it. At the same time, the quick setting pulled from the top of the screen also adds an elbow switch to disable the microphone and camera.
In addition, if an application that is different from the replication source application uses the information copied to the clipboard, the bottom of the screen is notified. In addition, a major change in usability is clicking on the Quick setup network icon to display a pop-up window that allows you to switch between WiFi and mobile communications without changing the screen.
According to the application, switch the WiFi settings and return to the original application. Because some operations are done this way, this change may be simple, but convenient.
A beta version of Android 12 is expected to release beta 3 in July and a stable version in August. After that, I am afraid it will be officially released from late August to early September.
