Can I leave all the passwords to you?
macOS Monterey, which is steadily increasing in security, such as being able to generate a code for two-step verification. There's also a new option in System Preferences called Passwords.
This Password section is where you can view and edit all of your iCloud Keychain logins and passwords. The location is easier to understand than the access from the Safari preferences so far. You can also use automatic password generation and risky password detection from Safari.
Additionally, passwords can be imported/exported. It is now possible to work with other password manager apps. In addition, it also has the function to generate the two-factor authentication code mentioned above. This code can be stored in iCloud Keychain and autofilled at login.
Furthermore, the iCloud Passwords extension is now available for the Edge browser. iCloud for Windows also includes the new iCloud Passwords app, making it easier for Windows users to switch to Mac.
Speaking of iCloud Keychain, I had the impression that it was inferior to other companies' apps in terms of features and compatibility, but I wanted to use it for a while because it has such enhanced functions.
