Speaking of LINE, you often use free calls and video calls. Both free calls and video calls do not incur call charges no matter how much you talk, and you can easily contact people who do not know the phone number. However, you may not be able to make a call due to the settings when installing the app or tapping an unintended part due to changing the settings. This time I will teach you how to deal with it.
Turn on "Allow incoming calls"
If your friend says "LINE calls can't be connected", or on the chat screen with your friend, "There was an incoming call from XX. You cannot answer the call because the incoming call permission is turned off.", check your "Call" settings. "Allow incoming calls" may be turned off.
Tap the setting icon on the "Friends" screen on LINE and select "Call". Turn on Allow incoming calls.
This setting is best turned off for people who don't like talking on the phone, or for people who say, "I'm going to a meeting, so I can send messages, but I don't want to make calls." Use them according to the time and situation.
Also check app permissions on the Android version
If you are using the Android version of LINE and are unable to make calls even though the incoming call permission is turned on, please check the following when installing the app. You may not have allowed "Make and manage calls". Check the settings of the main unit. If you select "LINE" from "Apps" in Android's "Settings" and turn on "Phone", you can make calls on LINE. In the iOS version, "Make and manage calls" is not displayed at the time of installation.
