Restore iPhone from backup!
[1] Preparation: Deletion of unnecessary data
You can save time by deleting data such as unnecessary photos and apps whose data is stored in the cloud with apps that you do not use immediately after restoring from backup. Let's reinstall the deleted application after restoration.
[2] Back up your iPhone using a cable
You can back up via Wi-Fi, but to prevent errors during communication, we recommend connecting to a computer with a cable and backing up to iTunes.
The backup procedure is simple, just connect your computer and iPhone with a cable, and iTunes will start automatically and back up. At this time, if you check "Encrypt iPhone backup" in iTunes, you can encrypt the backup data, so it is better to check it if you use a shared computer. However, be careful not to forget your password.
[3] Reset iPhone
Once the backup is successful, return your iPhone to factory defaults. From Settings> General, tap Reset> Erase All Content and Settings at the bottom, enter your passcode and tap Erase iPhone.
[4] Restore iPhone from PC
When you turn on the initialized iPhone and connect it to your computer with a cable, "Welcome to your new iPhone" will be displayed and you will be prompted to choose whether to set it as a new iPhone or restore from backup. Confirm that the "Last backup" time displayed under "Restore from this backup" matches the time backed up in step "2", and click "Continue". Restoring from backup will take some time. During that time, you can't operate the iPhone, so leave it alone.
[5] iPhone restoration is complete, and the original iPhone is back!
When the restore is complete and the iPhone restarts, iTunes will display the iPhone's name, and after the data has been synced, the iPhone will be back to normal. The apps, contacts, emails, and even the history of incoming and outgoing calls have been restored. Reinstall the temporarily deleted app from the App Store.
Don't forget to back up in case of failure, theft or loss!
Restoring from backup isn't just when your iPhone isn't working well. If you change your iPhone model, or if your iPhone breaks down, is stolen, or is lost, you can restore your clean iPhone to your own iPhone. If for some reason the iOS update doesn't work, you can back it up before the update. What is more important to us is the memories and relationships stored on the iPhone rather than the iPhone itself. If you back it up, it will return to its original state even if you replace the iPhone itself. Back up your iPhone to your computer at least once a month, just in case. You may want to decide, "Back up on the first Sunday of every month."
